Still in the state of Florida

Hi Everyone

well a lot of snowbirds have gone north for the summer... we however are still here in Florida for the time being.

our plan is to fly to CT during the summer for a visit, have work done on the coach here in Florida and maybe do a little traveling here.

we are still in Florida----

Hi All !!
well we are still in West Palm Beach -- Butch is having dental work and we plan to stay until it is completed.. its quiet here and very hot down here ( over 90 degrees for past 2 weeks).
We are keeping busy, Butch does his Karoake at a local Pizza restaurant on Wednesdays and we get downtown to listen to music bands a couple times a week.
I have been quilting a couple of hours each day and getting some work completed, so I thought I would blog some of the quilts for you.... some of them were started a LONG time ago (like when I lived in CT) and I had never finished them--but others were started and completed this spring..

We hope to get up to Ct this summer for a visit and also to Atlanta to see our Georgia family--so I will blog again when we travel this summer... Keep well, enjoy the summer. Love Marcia & Butch

Christmas Posting

Hi Everyone !!

we are hoping you are all surviving the winter season-- the snow and ice storms that have occurred already.....

The first pic is of Peyton-practicing her back flips--she is working to become a cheerleader for the SunRays team..

The next picture is of our granddaughters-- Piper and Peyton--our two Georgia Peaches.. I am sure Piper got to wear her hat a lot this winter, as Atlanta has been cold.

we spent Christmas in Georgia, and now we are back in West Palm.... /weather is much warmer here.....

We are "on the road again"....

Hi Everyone: well, we are on the road again this winter, traveling in Florida for the month of February--got some interesting pics recently: the one above is a Hot air balloon which was trying to get aloft but landed right in front of us at Thousand Trail campground--fortunately campers came and helped him bring it down--glad it wasn't landing on my Beaver....

This picture is one of a few I took of this SandHill Crane-- she is sitting at her nest with what I heard is a large egg beneath... how cool is that??? Maybe I'll see the baby sand hill...

we hope that everyone is surviving the cold and snowy winter in the Northeast--spring can't be too far away-- easy for me to say, while in Florida, right?? My brother, Larry and his wife, Nancy came down for a week to visit us in January--we sure enjoyed our time with them.

Our daughter from Atlanta and her family will be coming down for spring break--cannot wait to see them---

We are hoping to get over to Disney world in the next week and also to Merritt Island Wildlife Park during our stay here in Orlando.

Winter is upon us...

We have been feeling the winter this year--went into CT for 3 weeks during the Holidays to have the "winter experience once again"--I guess we had been missing it, living in Florida these past 6 winters....
Then when we returned to Florida, we were hit with low temps of 30/40 degrees for a few weeks... but the warmth has returned to South Florida--in case any of you Northerners want to enjoy it--come on down....

We are in PA touring now....

Hi Everyone....

We hope you enjoyed your summer (went fast for us...) as we wind down this Labor Day Weekend. We are in Hershey PA area--mnn, can smell the chocolate...

During these past two months, we spent our time in OH and now PA exploring all the cities and small communities they offer. We often went to factory tours and of course lots of touristy sights to see. Heading to CT for a visit with the family--we are so close now(only 250+ miles). After a visit, we will travel to Atlanta for a short visit then on to Florida and West Palm Beach. Hope you enjoy the blog and the pictures we send.... We are looking forward to "leaf peeping in New England" before heading south.

A Cool sight--still Traveling in Ohio

Today we saw a very interesting sight-- a Goodyear Blimp directly overhead and then landing at the "Blimp Base" not too far from us in Akron Ohio--of course we had to jump in the Focus and zoom over there to see it in person.... what a sight!! Recently we went to the Goodyear Museum and had learned all about the Blimps and tires of course.... enjoyed this. Marcia & Butch
