We are in PA touring now....

Hi Everyone....

We hope you enjoyed your summer (went fast for us...) as we wind down this Labor Day Weekend. We are in Hershey PA area--mnn, can smell the chocolate...

During these past two months, we spent our time in OH and now PA exploring all the cities and small communities they offer. We often went to factory tours and of course lots of touristy sights to see. Heading to CT for a visit with the family--we are so close now(only 250+ miles). After a visit, we will travel to Atlanta for a short visit then on to Florida and West Palm Beach. Hope you enjoy the blog and the pictures we send.... We are looking forward to "leaf peeping in New England" before heading south.

A Cool sight--still Traveling in Ohio

Today we saw a very interesting sight-- a Goodyear Blimp directly overhead and then landing at the "Blimp Base" not too far from us in Akron Ohio--of course we had to jump in the Focus and zoom over there to see it in person.... what a sight!! Recently we went to the Goodyear Museum and had learned all about the Blimps and tires of course.... enjoyed this. Marcia & Butch

Hi Everyone,

We have traveled to Ohio for 2 motorhome rallies--> one was a Beaver Rally in Lima, OH and the second was the FMCA rally with over 2600 coaches there--had lots of fun at both.

On our way we visited friends (Gail and Dave Wolk) in Rochester area and spent a few days with them.... We had a chance to take a boat ride on the Erie Canal and go through a lock...

Butch had an opportunity to sing Karoake at the Beaver Rally one evening --he did very well, even had some "groupies" enjoying his singing.....

We hope summer has arrived in the north east area, you certainly deserve some good weather.

We will continue to Blog as we travel in our Beaver Motorhome.....Marcia & Butch

Our CT grand children...

We--Butch and Marcia: visited CT for several weeks--seeing our daughters Dianne and Carolyn--this is a picture of Carolyn, Kayla, Shaylah and Jennifer with Butch and myself--we were celebrating Kayla's 8th grade graduation......
We are leaving shortly for our travels--out to NY state, then on to Ohio for several weeks... we certainly hope the "rain is behind us--it rained most of the time while in CT."
We plan to continue our "blogging" as we travel along the USA. Wishing you all a happy summer... Marcia & Butch

We are heading out this week

THIS WAS AN INTERESTING PIC OF AN SNOWY EGRET WE SAW IN SANIBEL ISLAND THIS WINTER--JUST SITTING AND WAITING IT SEEMS.....

This week, we will be heading out of Florida--going to Atlanta--so our daughter and son-in-law can go to Washington DC for a press conference "black tie" affair and see President Obama--we will be sure to send all of your good wishes with them...we will stay there about 2 weeks then head to CT for a visit with our CT families there. After our visit in CT--we will be heading to Ohio for a Lead-In Beaver Rally and Family Motor Coach Rally in mid-July--then we shall see where we go from there. There is so much to see in this wonderful country and we cherish the traveling time we have to enjoy it.......so for now, we say so long.

We hope to keep in touch with our new "blog" as we travel in our coach this summer. Love Butch & Marcia

Easter greeting

Hi Everyone, Butch and I want to wish you a very Happy Easter--- we are in WPB, enjoying the Florida weather and our campground, Vacation Inn Resort-- we saw this female mallard duck with her 11 eggs in a nearby campsite--hopefully we will be able to send pics of the little ducklings soon.... we hope the Easter Bunny comes hopping down your lane. Hi everyone,

just a quick update, again I am testing, testing, testing this "blogging thing" and checking how to do it correctly..
We will be on the Road tuesday the 31st of March--> heading to our Unidalla GA campground to spend one night then on to West Palm Beach on April Fool's Day....
The weather finally cleared here in Atlanta, the day is beautiful and the flowering trees are in bloom--it is so good to see spring arrive--pretty soon the North will see the changing season--probably not soon enough right Northerners???

initial posting Blog

Hi everyone,

I am learning a new skill--how to blog. I went to a motor coach rally and attended a seminar on blogging--thought it would be a great way to keep in touch with everyone--hope you agree.

you know me--always willing to get new gadgets going.....

We are in Atlanta visiting Ginny and family for another week, then back to WPB.
